Covered Complications for the Hip

90 Days:

  • Anesthesia Related (Delirium, DRF, Cardiopulmonary, Thromboembolic, etc.)
  • Hematoma/Contusion (Bleeding)
  • Wound (Dehisce, Drain, Wound site)
  • Other Complication (Pain, Fall, etc.)
  • Infection
  • Nerve Complication
  • Surgical (Puncture, laceration, etc.)
  • Fracture

12-24 Months (based on Claim Period selected above):

  • Leg Length
  • Bursitis/Tendinitis
  • Dislocation/Sublaxation
  • Migration/Loosening (Shell, Stem)
  • Bone (Osteolysis, Heterotopic formation, poor quality)
  • Alteration
  • Hip (Articulation, Noise Malposition)
  • Includes implantable when necessary due to a Covered Complication
